Taking the first step
If you would like to make an appointment or find out more, then please do contact me on worthingwellbeing@yahoo.co.uk. We can then arrange to have a chat on the phone. Then if you decide you would like to take the next step we would make an appointment to meet for an initial assessment session. This is a chance for you to see whether I am the right person for you to work with, and for me to find out a little more about you and tell you how I can help. If we go ahead we will then arrange a regular weekly appointment time to meet, each session will last for 50 minutes. We can decide together how many sessions you might need, and this will be reviewed regularly. Some people find that six to twelve sessions of counselling is enough to help them resolve their issues, but other people might benefit from in-depth psychotherapy and so come to see me for longer. If you have any questions then do just drop me an email.
Creative arts therapy
When words are not enough… It is not always easy to find the right words, so I offer a range of techniques to help the therapeutic process, including using the creative arts (paint, clay and sandtray), working with dreams and relaxation exercises. Working with children… In my experience the use of play and art materials can really help children to express their feelings and make sense of their world. So I have a wide selection of art materials and toys for them to use in my therapy room.
